52 Weeks: Electricity – Energy Star

Www.energystar.gov has a lot of useful information about using less electricity. Energy Star ratings help people compare the energy use of appliances, light bulbs, etc. When you’re buying new appliances, take the Energy Star rating into account. The more efficient it is, the less it will cost you to run it for years to come.

Many electric companies offer free energy surveys. They help you make changes that will lower your utility costs. Contact your provider and ask about their energy survey.
